BROMSGROVE Tennis Club is offering free taster sessions as part of the national Great British Tennis Weekend.

The club, on St Godwald’s Road, will run sessions from midday till 3pm tomorrow (Saturday) with racquets and balls provided, for everyone, regardless of their ability.

James Griffiths, head coach at the club, said: “I’d urge anyone who’s interested to come along and give it a go.

“Great British Tennis Weekend is a great opportunity to take that first step.”

There will be mini-tennis sessions for three- to ten-year-olds on smaller courts whilst 11- to 18-year-olds can play on full-size courts.

Adults are invited to take part in free taster coaching sessions with qualified staff or take part in free play sessions on their own.

All of the sessions will be overseen by qualified club coaches and the licensed clubhouse will be open with refreshments.

More information is at www.bromsgrovetennisclub.co.uk about what the club, named Herefordshire and Worcestershire LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) Club of the Year 2013 and 2015, has to offer.

Online booking is available at https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/OpenDays/BromsgroveTennisClub/ or simply turn up on the day.
