CHRISTMAS cards, wrapping paper and other seasonal items will be on offer at the annual Blue Cross Christmas Fair.
The event, at the centre in Golden Cross Lane, Catshill, will run from 10am to 1pm on Saturday (November 15).
It will also feature hot and cold refreshments, a range of toys, games, toiletries and other stocking fillers, along with family games, including a special Christmas tombola.
Funds will be put towards the pets’ care and the fund to pay for the centre’s revamp which has just got underway.
That will see a number of new areas added, including an isolation unit for pets with diseases, a new arrivals space where cats and dogs can be assessed, dedicated puppy and kitten units, a new cattery, refurbished kennels and a new pet clinic.
Neil Edwards, the Bromsgrove Blue Cross centre manager, said: “We hope to see many local animal lovers at our Christmas event.
“It is a fun way of getting behind the exciting rebuild project and raising funds towards the £1.9million appeal – we would really appreciate a big turnout this year.”
