A FREE Christmas fayre is being held at the Bromsgrove Life After Stroke Centre tomorrow (Saturday).

The event, which runs from 10am to 3pm, will feature stalls selling Christmas gifts, festive decorations, seasonal fashion accessories and cards.

Youngsters will be able to visit Father Christmas in his grotto and there will be warm winter refreshments.

Cemex UK in Oldbury which recently supported The Stroke Association’s Give a Hand fund-raiser will have a stall there.

Jim Wainright, the company’s production supervisor, said: “Cemex used to be based at the Life After Stroke Centre Building some years ago, so it was very fitting to go along and visit the Stroke Association to show our support by making arts and crafts.

“We’d encourage the people of Bromsgrove to get in the festive spirit and pop along to the fayre.”

Claire Benfeld, The Stroke Association’s regional fund-raiser, added: “Our Christmas Fayre has everything people need to get ready for the festive season.

“We’re looking forward to enjoying a mince pie with the Bromsgrove community and enjoying the festivities, while also raising vital funds.”

Admission is free.
