A TALK by former soldier and author Michael Atherton will be given at the Millfield Social Club, Millfield Road.
In the presentation, organised by the Bromsgrove branch of the Royal British Legion, Michael will talk about his book The Long Shot.
That centres around a sniper who was sent to kill Adolf Hitler in a bid to bring the Second World War to an early conclusion.
It will take place at 8pm on Thursday (June 18).
Admission is free but donations for the RBL Poppy Appeal are requested.
Signed copies of the book will be available after the talk.
The Millfield Club is now the new home of Bromsgrove’s RBL which meets there at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of every month (except August).
Everyone is welcome to go along.
