Former pupils of North and South Bromsgrove High to go head to head in Old School Quiz

Bromsgrove Editorial 21st Jun, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

PAST pupils from North and South Bromsgrove High Schools are being urged to sign up to take part in a quiz which will pit the two against each other.

The North vs South ‘Old School’ quiz will feature questions from the 1970s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Liz Boyd from North and Annaliese Stanton from South are organising the contest which will take place at 6.30pm on July 11 at the town’s library as part of the Bromsgrove Festival.

They said: “We thought that a North vs South quiz would be a really fun way to get local people involved with the ‘Old School Days’ exhibition and we’d love to see ex-students from all decades representing their school.

“For those who don’t want to be a team member, we’re also looking for enthusiastic audience members to cheer their team on.”

The quiz is part of a wider event which will feature a ‘Bromsgrove Past and Present’ collection of pictures and items from the town’s ‘old school days’.

Any former school students from Bromsgrove who have items, such as old school play programmes, school reports, uniforms or class photos are being urged to put them forward for the exhibition.

Any memorabilia will be looked after carefully by the event organisers and will be exhibited at Bromsgrove Library.

To find out more or to register interest in taking part in the quiz, e-mail [email protected] for team North and [email protected] for team South.
