A FORMER South Bromsgrove High School pupil has had his first book published.

Steve Carter, who grew up in Bromsgrove and still has family living in the town, hopes The Book of Good will inspire readers to do good deeds to make people happy, making themselves happier in the process.

It features an interactive diary element, where readers can record their good deeds.

Steve, who has been a secondary school teacher for the past 25 years, often returns to Bromsgrove to visit his parents and old school friends.

He said he has fond memories of going to South where he said there were some great teachers who supported him.

“The Good Book is for all people.

“Life can be tough. If everyone took on the challenge to be good on a daily basis the world would be a better place for everyone.”

A Good Book, published by Publish Nation, is available from Amazon. A Kindle version is also available, without the interactive feature.
