VOLUNTEERS have organised their 11th annual firework display for charity in Barnt Green.
The event will be held tomorrow (Saturday) on Kendal End Road, at 5.30pm to support good causes in the area.
The night is completely run by volunteers and has raised up to £12,000 in previous years. Organisers are hoping to raise even more funds this year.
The money will go towards The Scouts and Guides Association which help with the event to support the groups and maintain the building they meet in. The land owner has donated the space and requested some of the cash raised goes to Motor Neurone Disease. Part of the donations will also go to The Andrew Stanley Tribute Fund.
With the help of surrounding businesses the group have organised two firework displays. One is a quieter show for children at 6.30pm and at 7pm the bonfire will be lit followed by the main display at 7.45pm.
There will also be fire-eater, jugglers, a hog roast, barbecue, a bar tent, hot drinks stalls and entertainment.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children and family passes are £12. These can be bought from www.bgsgc.org.uk/events.
