A THREE-storey house in Marlbrook was evacuated by firefighters last night (Thursday) after a gas leak.

The incident happened at 10.34pm at Marlgrove Court and a fire crew from Bromsgrove was sent to the scene.

When they arrived, they managed to locate and isolate where the gas was coming from by using breathing aparatus and gas monitoring equipment.

The gas company attended to sort out the leak and the National Grid certified everything safe by 11.19pm.
