A SUMMER fete will be held at St Godwald’s Church Hall from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday (July 18) to raise funds for the First Finstall Brownies.
The event, which will feature a variety of attractions, will raise funds for the group and the girls, aged between seven and ten, have come up with their own ideas for stalls.
They will also be running them, with some help from their Brownie leaders.
The afternoon should provide fun for all the family and among the activities on offer will be a bric-a-brac stall, a tombola, hook a duck, a dance show and a raffle.
A host of prizes and vouchers have been donated for the raffle by local businesses.
Brownie leader Claire Edwards said: “I’m so proud of the Brownies who have put so much effort into organising their first ever fete.
“It would be lovely to see lots of people attending to see just how well organised the girls’ have been.”
