Fatal Bromsgrove crash leaves one dead and three injured

A FATAL crash left one man dead and three others needing hospital treatment in Bromsgrove yesterday (Monday).

The incident took place about 3.30pm outside The Queen’s Head on the Stratford Road, A448.

The West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) sent three ambulances and two paramedic area support officers to the scene.

A WMAS spokesman said when crews arrived they found a car had been significant damaged after it had left the road and collided with street furniture.




The man, who was confirmed dead at the scene, had been thrown from the car by the impact.

A teenage girl also suffered a suspected fractured wrist whilst second and a man in his 40s were treated for minor injuries – they were initially treated at the scene by paramedics before they were all taken to the the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for further assessment.


“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”

He added there was nobody else involved in the incident.
