CHILDREN were able to have their picture taken with Father Christmas for their very own festive card at the weekend at a Rubery estate agents.
Those who took part in the events on Saturday (December 13) and Monday (December 15) at Your Move, New Road, also did their bit for charity as well, with donations going to Text Santa 2014.
The staff involved included sales consultants Calum McLuckie and Martyn Richards, lettings manager Stephanie Ashley and branch manager Nicola Tunstall.
Jade Debenham, who works for Your Move Rubery, took along her five-year-old daughter Gabrieller.
She said Gabrieller was so excited and could not wait to meet Santa, adding she thought what Nicky had done for local Rubery children and the community was brilliant.
Nicky said: “It has been amazing seeing everyone’s faces light up and not just the younger generation either, we have had visits from all age ranges including Phillip Blundle who has recently bought a house from us.”
On Monday (December 15), there was also a festive Man v Food challenge which saw Callum and Martyn eat as many hot dogs as they could. After a tough contest, Martyn emerged the winner, consuming five jumbo hot dogs and several people won prizes in the raffle.
The cash going to Text Santa will help six charities – the Teenage Cancer Trust, Guide Dogs, Well Child, Marie Curie, Alzheimer’s Society and Together for short Lives
