RESIDENTS in Romsley and Hunnington can embark on one of two walks organised by the areas’ parish council.

The 5.75mile walk will begin on The Green at the top of Romsley Hill at 10am next Saturday (June 21) and take participants to Nimmings Visitor Centre at the Clent Hills and back again.

There is also the 3.5mile option for those wanting to just walk one way and arrange transport from the Nimmings centre.

The strolls will be led by Romsley and Hunnington parish paths warden Stuart Smith.

He said the walks, which use field paths, quiet lanes and bridleways, offered some excellent urban and country walks.

There will also be a short stop for refresments before continuing the circular walk via the ancient church of St Kenelms.

Dogs and children are welcome, but there are a number of stiles along the way.
