A BROMSGROVE girl has won an annual family pass to Avoncroft after winning an architecture competition held in the town centre.

Alice Watkins, nine, fought off stiff competition by finding 18 hidden architectural treasures on Bromsgrove High Street.

She managed to identify a number of buildings in pictures scooping the prize which will give her unlimited entry to the popular museum up until the end of 2015.

The competition was part of a Heritage Open Day event in September, organised by Bromsgrove District Council, Worcestershire County Council and Avoncroft Museum as part of the Townscape Heritage Initiative.

Simon Carter, Avoncroft Museum’s director, said: “Many congratulations to Alice, she has a very sharp eye for architectural detail and we hope she and her family get a lot of enjoyment out of the annual family pass.”
