SHOPS across Bromsgrove are being urged to show off their seasonal sides and enter the 2015 best dressed Christmas shop window competition.
It has been organised by the Town Team, in conjunction with the Better Bromsgrove scheme, Bromsgrove District Council and Business Begins in Bromsgrove.
Windows need to be decorated in time for November 20 when a panel of judges from the Town Team will take a trip up the High Street at 5pm to decide on the window which is decorated the best.
The final decision will be based on creativity, a festive feel and extra points will be considered for a nod to the local area.
The winner- and runner up will be given a certificate to display in their window so customers can share in your success.
Coun Rita Dent said: “It is great to see traders working together and as a council we are proud to support this.
“It will help our High Street spread Christmas cheer.”
Lorita from Lorita’s Bakehouse, added: “We have seen a lot of support from traders over the last six months in Town Team and interest in the Best Dressed Window competition.
“It’s good to work together to attract more shoppers to our town which we should be proud of.”
The winner will then be announced by Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid at the opening of the Christmas Market on that Friday.
Those wanting to take part need to either e-mail her Lorita at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form on this page and drop it into Lorita’s Bakehouse by next Friday’s deadline (November 13).
