THE BROMSGROVE Welcomes Refugees (BWR) Committee is collecting items for people stuck in beyond human conditions in camps across Europe and Jordan.

Donations can be dropped between 2pm and 5pm at the community hall, St John’s Baptist Church next Saturday (March 19) and again on April 16 and May 14.

A BWRC spokesperson said aid items should be secured in back refuge bags, be clearly labelled, for example stating type and size of clothes, and men and women’s clothes need to be packed separately.

He added: “Your aid will be collected on the same day by People in Motion to ship to the refugee camps.”
