THE MANAGER of the Rubery branch of Robert Oulsnam and Company is celebrating after her four-legged friend won the ‘Best Puppy in Breed’ at Crufts 2016.

Sally-Ann Neath-Duggan is well-known in dalmatians circles with the famous affix Buffrey, which was established by her parents in 1960 and was later taken up by Sally-Ann.

The dog Sally-Ann was handling is has the registered kennel name Buffrey Incognito by Dalleaf, but the dog’s birth name is Seb and is owned by a Miss Stevie Baker.

In May 2015 friends, family, colleagues and the dalmatian world were all shocked and saddened to discover, Sally-Ann was diagnosed with cancer which would take her away from doing what she loved most, dog showing, whilst she underwent treatment.

Sally-Ann did go on to have a litter of eight puppies which included Seb during her treatment, making Crufts 2016 an even more joyous occasion, coming away with a win and being back in the ring showing dogs.

With a fantastic start to year, Sally-Ann is confident of a successful 2016 for Buffrey.

Sally-Ann has since completed her cancer treatments and has made excellent progress.
