Crime advice given out at Uffmoor Woods thanks to police's rural crime van

CRIME prevention advice was given out to residents when the police visited Uffmoor Woods in their Rural, Business and Cyber (RBC) Crime van, writes Max Banner.

The RBC team spoke to visitors and residents about their concerns and local issues and how to prevent them becoming victims of crime.

Whilst locations in the Hagley and Rubery area are great for walks, the team has stressed local beauty spots can be a target for vehicle crime.

Officers are advising people to keep valuables with them or leave them at home.

And they are reminding residents making the most of the final part of summer to ensure their cars are locked and secured.
