Company apologises to Bromsgrove residents after two-hour powercut

WESTERN Power Distribution has apologised to Bromsgrove residents after more than 2,400 homes suffered a powercut on Thursday (November 13).

It was caused by a fault with an underground cable.

A spokesperson for the company said the problems began at 1.30pm, the households came back on in stages and full power was restored by 3.30pm.
