VISITORS to the Clent Hills will have the chance to experience an archaeological dig this spring when a team of archaeologists will be working to discover the area’s hidden history.
Local people can get involved every Sunday until June 26, when experts on site will be investigating unusual landscape features and ruins to find clues about its past.
People can see the dig, talk to experts and handle archaeological finds.
National Trust archaeologist Janine Young said: “We’re really excited about this project; so many people love the Clent Hills and have fond memories of visiting them.
“It will be great to involve our visitors in helping to uncover more about the history of the site.”
