ERIC Clapton fans can catch the 30th anniversary tour of a tribute act to their hero at Bromsgrove’s Artrix tonight (Friday).
Classic Clapton front man Mike Hall is renowned for looking and sounding like his idol and the show will follow all of the musician’s illustrious career – from his performances in several bands including Cream, The Bluesbreakers, The Yardbirds, Blind Faith and Derek and The Dominos to his solo years.
Tonight’s performance comes just a fortnight after the man himself celebrated his 70th birthday.
And, although Mike is not that old, he is thinking of taking a break after this tour so this might be the last chance for a while that fans have to catch Classic Clapton.
Tickets for tonight’s show, which starts at 8pm, are £15.
They can be bought by visiting www.artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.www.classic-clapton.com which contains live music, pictures, set list and tour news.
