A TEAM of ten people were out and about in Rubery on Saturday (September 19) giving the area a good clean.
There were 15 bags of rubbish collected in total and, along with the litter-picking, hedges were trimmed and weeds were cleared.
Rev Claire Turner said: “There was a very friendly atmosphere amongst the volunteers who got treated to tea and cake at St Chad’s for their trouble.
“Lots of passers by stopped to chat, appreciating our efforts.”
