AWARD-winning illustrator Korky Paul who provided the pictures for the popular Winnie the Witch children’s book series will be at Bromsgrove’s Artrix tomorrow (Saturday).

The event at 2pm, which has been organised by littleWORDS, will see the artist talk about his work to the children.

A spokesperson for littleWORDS said: “He’s a very entertaining and engaging speaker and illustrator and littleWORDS is very grateful for the support of Worcestershire County Councillor Anthony Blagg who has given us a £500 grant towards this and our next event, which will be in October.”

This latest event comes after similar ones held at Artrix in October last year where several children’s authors visited to speak to youngsters about what it was like to be a writer.

Tickets to the interactive event, which is aimed at youngsters aged between four and 11, are £6 for adults and £4 for children.

They are available by visiting www.artrix.co.uk, calling the box office on 01527 577330 or by calling Dympna Moore on 0121 445 3485.
