CHADSGROVE School in Catshill has launched an appeal to help secure the funds to refurbish its playground to ensure it is safe for all children to enjoy.

It is bidding for a £25,000 community award from the OneFamily Foundation and Bromsgrove residents could help secure the funding by voting online.

The cash would be used to provide a new safe play area with a sand play area, mirror and music wall panels.

The playground will be wheelchair accessible so all children can enjoy the new area independently.

Headteacher Deb Rattley said she wanted to provided the very best for the school’s 120 pupils, who have specialist physical needs.

The OneFamily Foundation is a customer benefit fund which helps communities based on an online voting system (the community projects with the most votes receive the funding).

Voting closes at midday on June 29 and those wanting to vote should visit https://foundation.onefamily.com/projects/chadsgrove-school-a-playground-for-everyone/
