LOCAL historian Peter Mobley went to Catshill First School to talk to year three and four children about the village’s past.
Mr Mobley gave a fascinating insight into the history of the area’s nailmaking trade last Tuesday (February 11) as part of the youngsters’ Urban Pioneers topic.
That has seen the children study urban art and they will now be designing their own Bromsgrove of the future.
Pauline Wainman, who organised the event, said: “Mr Mobley really enjoyed his visit and was pleased the children were so attentive and passionate about the history of their own village.
“He said it really brightened his day.”
