BURGLARS stole three bicycles worth more than £3,000 after they forced their way into an outbuilding in Hagley.

At some point between 8.20am last Friday (July 31) and 2.50pm on Tuesday (August 4) thieves broke into the building, off Hall Lane, and smashed the bike holder instead of lifting the bicycles out causing £100 in damages as well.

A specialised silver and blue Stuntjumper with black highlights, worth £1,700, and three broken spokes on its back wheel was taken along with a silver Boardman hybrid valued at £890.

A GT Avalanche, worth £400, with a black frame with green writing was also stolen.

Anyone with any information on any of the crimes should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
