A CHARITY campaigner has raised nearly £1,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support by raising a cuppa.

Julie Whyte from Bromsgrove enlisted the support of the Vintage Belles party service for her World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

She has been helping the charity for 14 years and has raised £1,416.28 so far through the event with money still coming in.

Julie said: “Macmillan is a charity close to the Vintage Belles’ hearts as they too have experienced Macmillan’s services hence why they wanted to support me.

“It was even co-owner Becky’s birthday and she chose to spend it helping me.

“I have been overwhelmed at how many people really pull together to help Macmillan’s fund-raising events.”
