Bromsgrove to say 'bonjour' to a new French market

Bromsgrove Editorial 4th Nov, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

THERE will be a taste of the continent coming to Bromsgrove next weekend when the town plays host to a French Market.

Stalls will line the High Street outside Argos selling a variety of goods, including continental cheeses and deli delights.

Rita Dent, the Bromsgrove District Councillor whose portfolio covers the High Street and Economic Development, said: “The events area was created as part of the Town Centre Regeneration Project and it has already been utilised over the summer months.

“We have seen a chilli market, farmers’ markets, traders’ day and I am delighted the French Market will complement our regular stalls to attract Sunday shoppers.”

The market will run from 9am until 5pm next Friday and Saturday (November 6 and 7) and between 10 and 4pm next Sunday (November 8).
