STUDENTS from South Bromsgrove High School said goodbye in style when they turned up for their last day in spectacular fancy dress outfits.
There was a rapturous applause from the rest of the students and staff as they left the building for the big wide world.
The ceremonial departure of sixth-formers is a long-standing tradition at South and a real high point for both staff and students who look forward to the end of year 13.
Sixth-form director Nick Coates, said: “We’ve had the fancy dress tradition at South for a number of years and it is something which really brings the school together on the year 13 students’ final day.
“It’s great to see the rest of the school applaud them as they leave and say goodbye in such a fun way.”
