PUPILS from Parkside Middle School’s mentoring programme took part in a day of bag-packing at a Bromsgrove supermarket to raise funds for Text Santa.
The group of 15 thoroughly enjoyed helping shoppers throughout the day, which was organised by Angela Crews from Morrisons.
She has been working closely with Parkside, supporting some of the school’s mentoring activities.
Debbie Lippett, Parkside’s head of welfare, said: “Members of the public were really supportive of the charity and the pupils and they commented how lovely it was to have help with their shopping.”
