Bromsgrove School pupils find out more about forensic investigating

Bromsgrove Editorial 22nd Aug, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

PARENTS, pupils and staff from Bromsgrove School were treated to a masterclass on the scientific investigation of crime in a talk given by Tristram Elmhirst earlier this year.

Tristram has served on many national forensic bodies, including the position as Secretary for the National Police Forensic Conference and worked at a variety of police forces including the Metropolitan district of Paddington and the West Mercia Police. He has also been named as a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences for his contribution to the profession.

In his talk he educated both parents and pupils on the basic principles of forensic science and how forensics could eliminate people from crimes as well as proving them to be guilty.
