BROMSGROVE’S Chadsgrove School has had several reasons to celebrate this week after making it to their 40th anniversary, opening their Lower School Playground and receiving an outstanding Ofsted.

The school, just off Meadow Road, marked its birthday on Tuesday (April 26) with an afternoon tea and a visit from the three headteachers from over the four decades.

They were also able enjoy the new £25,000 play area thanks to funding from the One family Foundation.

This came soon after Chadsgrove received their glowing Ofsted report which saw inspectors praised the staff for ‘maintaining an excellent balance between caring for each pupil and ensuring that make the best progress they can, academically, socially and personally’.

Headteacher Deb Rattley said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised as being an ‘outstanding’ school for the second time in succession.

There is a strong commitment to excellence throughout the school and we constantly strive to provide education and care of the highest standard.

“I am immensely proud of the pupils, staff, families and Governors and would like to congratulate them all on this superb achievement and thank them all for their commitment to our school.”
