MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Rock Choir will be joining international pop-opera group G4 in their upcoming 20-date reunion tour.

The choir will open one of several G4 shows with a 30-minute set before joining the band on stage for six songs, including Freddie Mercury’s Barcelona and One Day More from Les Miserables.

The outfit will share the concert duties with Rock Choir branches based in Redditch, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.

Christa Hugo, Rock Choir leader for Bromsgrove, said: “Bromsgrove Rock Choir is really excited to be performing with G4 on their Reunion Tour. The choir members have all worked so hard in the run-up to the performance and we know it will be a show to remember.”

The tour begins tomorrow (Saturday) in Leeds and the line-up also includes Charlotte Jaconelli of 2012 Britain’s Got Talent and runner-up duo Jonathan and Charlotte.

Bromsgrove Rock Choir has been running since September 2012, raising vital money for various charities.

In June it will also be part of a national Rock Choir event with thousands of other choir members at the Genting Arena.

There are no auditions in Rock Choir and no previous musical experience is necessary. We are a very friendly, sociable group and new members are always welcome. Bromsgrove Rock Choir rehearses at All Saints Church Hall on Burcot Lane from 8pm-9.30pm. To book a free taster session visit www.rockchoir.com or call 01252 714276. Tickets to the show start from £22.50 and are available online at the same address.
