THOSE wanting to take up cricket or looking to get back into the game after a break can go along to an open day at a Bromsgrove-based club.
Avoncroft Cricket Club, Hanbury Road, Stoke Heath, is holding the event at 11am tomorrow (Saturday) to showcase all it has to offer and to attract new members.
Those who go along will be able to have a look around the newly refurbished pavilion and bar, meet existing club members and see some of the youth training in action.
There will be a free net session for an hour at 11.30am and then the first team will be in action at 1pm.
After that, potential new members will be able to meet both the Saturday and Sunday captains.
The day is open for all ages and abilities and information packs will be available about the club.
