PARENTS across the district and their children are invited to a summer picnic in Sanders Park.

The free ‘Cheeky Monkeys’ event, organised by the Bromsgrove National Childbirth Trust (NCT), takes place at 1pm next Sunday (August 2).

Whilst the picnic is aimed at the under fives, older siblings are welcome and all cash raised will go to the Bromsgrove NCT.

As well as the picnic, there will also be a lucky dip, outdoor games and a treasure hunt.

The parents who go along will be able to meet others and Bromsgrove NCT volunteers in a relaxing social atmosphere.

They will also be able to find out about the NCT, what it has to offer and, if they want to, how they can get involved.

Local mum and NCT volunteer Crystal Weber said: “The Cheeky Monkeys’ Picnic promises to be a fun and relaxing afternoon for families, which we hope will raise awareness of Bromsgrove NCT’s services and activities.

“We look forward to welcoming old and new supporters alike.”
