Bromsgrove pair's plea for return of wedding day reminder

Bromsgrove Editorial 2nd Jun, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

A SENTIMENTAL empty whiskey barrel engraved with a wedding date was stolen in a Bromsgrove burglary.

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by the owners and the police after the barrel, which was 4ft tall, 18ins wide and of great sentimental value, was taken from an unlocked porch on West Road.

The incident took place sometime between 8.30am and 9.30pm on Tuesday (May 27).

So far police have had a positive response from the public – one witness saw two people rolling the barrel down the victim’s driveway towards a silver pickup van with drop sides between 4.10pm and 4.30pm.

Anyone with anymore information should call 101 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
