TWO MEN appeared at Redditch Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (September 3) on charges of assault and possessing offensive weapons, namely a nunchuck and a 6ft wooden stick, in a Bromsgrove Chinese takeaway.

Glen David Carver, 36, and Paul Colin Seymour, 34, both of Birmingham Road, each faced a charge of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Carver was also accused of possessing a 6ft wooden stick and Seymour of having a nunchuck.

They related to an incident in the Oriental Royal, Birmingham Road, on May 15.

The pair have been released on conditional bail until they are due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on December 22.
