A BROMSGROVE mum-of-two and chair of the town’s Ladies Circle will be running the race to raise funds for Help Harry Help Others (HHHO).
Jo-Anne Till who has already taken part in the Colour Run in Birmingham and the Cheltenham Half Marathon is hoping to complete the course in under two hours.
Help Harry Help Others was set up by Harry Moseley, a brave boy who battled with an inoperable brain tumour. He started to make and sell beaded bracelets to raise funds to make a difference to all people with brain cancer. Sadly in October 2011, Harry passed away, but in just two years he organised and attended nearly 100 events selling his bracelets and making many celebrity friends, who still support the HHHO charity.
She said she has found it hard to train, especially with the nights drawing in, but added: “I am lucky in where I live as it’s a short run to to lovely canals which are a pleasure to run along.
“I’m looking forward to the finish line and treating myself to a new pair of trainers.” she added.
Jo-Anne has set herself a fund-raising target of £500 with £395 already collected.
