A MANUFACTURING giant has opened an office in Bromsgrove, which just so happens to be twinned with its German headquarters in Gronau.
Teupen manufactures mobile elevated work platforms.
Its UK office was opened by Redditch-based sales director Craig Rook in February.
Craig said the move demonstrated commitment from a German manufacturer, regardless of the UK’s position on staying or leaving Europe.
He added: “We’re very excited Bromsgrove is twinned with our headquarters in Gronau, Germany – we’ve had so much support from the local council, and even from the chairman of the Twinning Association.”
Craig said opting for Bromsgrove was purely coincidental because the decision was based on availability and quality of space.
