Bromsgrove man charged and remanded over Bromsgrove stabbing

THE MAN arrested in connection with a stabbing in Bromsgrove has appeared in court.

Nathan Gurney, 19, of Crossley Walk, was charged with wounding with intent and possessing a bladed article in public.

He was remanded in custody and will appear before Worcester Crown Court on March 30.

The incident happened in Crossley Walk in Charford on Monday (February 29).




It left a man in his 20s seriously injured and initially in a critical condition in Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

But, as we reported earlier, he is now stable and the injuries are no longer thought to be life-threatening.
