THE PRIMROSE Hospice has launched the big countdown to this year’s annual summer fete.
The event, between midday and 4pm on July 16 at the hospice, will be officially opened by VIP guest, Bromsgrove resident and BBC Midlands Today presenter Joanne Malin.
On offer on the day will be Tardebigge cider, The Village Catering Company prosecco van, Retro Lilly’s ice cream van, Banner’s pork baps, craft stalls for everyone, raffles, tombolas, children’s activities including a bouncy castle, traditional games and face painting.
Fete-goers will also be able to see a collection of classic cars and take a look around the hospice and wander around the amazing gardens and grounds.
The Primrose Hospice’s community fund-raiser Emma Williams said she hoped residents from Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch would come down on the day.
“The summer fete will be a fabulous opportunity for the hospice to showcase the many services that we have on offer to families in the local community who may need our support.
“We are hosting taster sessions of the holistic therapies we offer and there will be staff on site to chat about the services that can be accessed here.
“There is more to Primrose than meets the eye and we wanted to give the local community the chance to come and have a look around and support their local hospice.”
