THE BROMSGROVE Festival fun continues with plenty more events on the extravaganza’s calendar.

Artrix Youth Theatre presents end of term show ‘The Urban Jungle’ at the School Drive venue at 6pm tomorrow (Saturday).

The production features pieces based on animal stories. Tickets are £8 (£6 concessions).

Also tomorrow, the Sinfonia of Birmingham performs its concert at St Andrew’s Church in Barnt Green at 7.30pm. Conducted by Michael Seal and featuring soloist Rebecca Eldridge (bassoon), the music will include works from Stravinsky, Weber, Prokofiev and Beethoven.

BromsProms takes place at Barnt Green Baptist Church at 7.30pm tomorrow (Saturday). Blackwell Concert Band will provide the foot-tapping and singalong classics, including Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia. Tickets are £10 for adults from the Artrix box office. Children go free.

Popular children’s author Nick Sharratt (Shark in the Park and Ketchup on your Cornflakes) is back by popular demand at Artrix on Sunday. He will talk about how he got into drawing and show how he creates his much-loved characters.

Suitable for five-year-olds and upwards, tickets are £4 per child and £6 per adult. Visit for more.

Oddsocks Productions’ outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing at Avoncroft Museum is at 6.30pm on Sunday.

The long-awaited School Days Remembered will take place on Monday at Artrix. Those who went to school in the district can take along their old photographs and other items between 2pm and 7pm to add to an already amassed display. There will also be a short talk at 7pm and the North Bromsgrove High Alumni v South Bromsgrove High Alumni quiz at 7.30pm.
