DANCERS from The Star Project and Theatretrain were among 500 who took part in a choreographed ice bucket routine.
Having been devised by Steve Liles, the Dance Off Challenge saw around 100 dancers from Redditch and Bromsgrove joining in to raise awareness of motor neurone disease.
He said: “The challenge went off absolutely brilliantly, I can’t begin to tell you how much effort all the dance groups put into it and how much fun everybody had.
“There will be another similar event with another few hundred dancers in a couple of weeks.
“We are also passing the challenge on to other dance groups around the country in the hope we can raise even more money.”
