A BRAND new shredder has been presented to the St Andrews Church Garden Project courtesy of the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire and Broad Street DIY.

The community garden was set up in 2009 as part of ABC project (A Blessing for Charford) to try and alleviate some of the problems facing the community and is voluntarily tended to and run by unemployed residents .

The shredder will allow those working on the self-funded project to make their own compost so that fresh produce from the garden can continue to be donated to people in the local area free of charge.
