A BROMSGOVE business founder is looking for support in Richard Branson’s Pitch to Rich competition.
Hannah Caswell entered the ‘Grow’ category hoping to win £250,000 for her company, Marketing Makeovers.
Launched in 2012, Marketing Makeovers gives local and national businesses with outdated and ineffective designs a makeover through web and graphic design and social media marketing.
She said: “My main ambition is to grow and reach a much wider audience but to do so I need to considerably increase my marketing budget, which is the main reason I applied for Pitch to Rich.”
The national competition allows UK entrepreneurs to submit their pitch for the chance of winning a marketing campaign and mentoring from Virgin Media.
Hannah, who has received support from Hilary Devey CBE and author Peter James, needs votes to secure a place within the top 50 entries to reach the semi-finals.
Successful candidates will be announced on May 19 whilst applicants who reach the final will get the chance to pitch to Branson himself.
She added: “The competition this year is extremley tough and I need to keep the votes coming in.
“If West Midlands residents could please spare a minute to vote for Marketing Makeovers, I would be grateful. Each and every single vote makes a difference.”
Hannah, who is the Midlands’ first redesign and brand transformation specialist, suffers from Spina Bifida and Tethered Cord Syndrome.
But she sees no reason why she should sacrifice her dream due to health difficulties and has endured three major back operations, one which led to her contracting bacterial meningitis, since her business launch.
She added: “Winning Pitch to Rich would mean everything to me and having the opportunity to pitch to Richard Branson would be the icing on the cake.”
