THE TENTH Bromsgrove Brownies took part in a range of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Girlguiding in Worcestershire.

The girls, aged seven to ten, got the chance to have a go at cheerleading, zip wires, crate stacking and the 3G swing.

They also enjoyed a series of fun craft activities throughout the day, and of course marshmallow toasting and campfire singsongs prior to the journey home.

Group leader, Kristal Taylor said: “The confidence the girls get from this kind of experience is just amazing and it inspires others to join in too.

“I’ve got two children of my own and it’s done absolute wonders for them.”

The Tenth Bromsgrove Brownies meet weekly at St Godwalds Church in Aston Fields.
