A YOUNGSTER from Bromsgrove has been named as one of Britain’s best young drivers at the 2015 Young Driver Challenge on September 5 at the NEC in Birmimgham.

Thomas Moore, 11, from Bromsgrove, came fourth in the 11 to 13 age category and said: “It was great fun to put everything I’ve learnt in my lessons into practice and to be given the opportunity to get even more experience.

“Young Driver has given me a good understanding of how to drive, and how to be safe on the roads, which will be really useful when I turn 17.”

Thomas, who attends Parkside Middle School. impressed judges with his control, precise manoeuvres and quick thinking behind the wheel and won Young Driver vouchers and a special goody bag for his efforts.
