Bromsgrove boy does charity cake sale for Primrose

A BOY PROVED you are never to young to fund-raise when he held his first cake sale for the Primrose Hospice at the age of five.

Dylan Davis staged the event at the holiday club he attends on Thursday (August 14) and has even designed his own poster for the occasion.

The nursery allowed him to sell his baked goods to parents and children before and after the club.

He chose to raise funds for the cause because his great auntie currently has terminal lung cancer and he wanted to do something positive.

Dylan also wanted to support the Primrose because his mum Helen has planned to do the 5k Rainbow Run for the hospice, dressed in a cow onsesie.

The event is open to anyone aged eight and over and Dylan will also be heading along to throw paint at his mum, as he is too young to run.

Places are still available for the Rainbow Run which will take place on September 6.
