Bromsgrove author gets name up in lights

MANY dream of seeing their name written in lights, but for one Bromsgrove author, this dream has become a reality.

The cover of Carmen Capuano’s latest book ‘Split Decision’ will soon be lighting up a huge digital billboard above the Aston Expressway, for all the world to see.

“I really can’t believe that my novel will be up there.”

“Thousands of cars pass that spot everyday – and now they will see the cover,” said Carmen, whose new novel will be stocked by WHSmith in Birmingham (previously only available online) allowing residents to get their hands on a copy.

It has been a busy summer for the local author, who has also been approached by GEM – a Birmingham-based culture and events magazine- to be its new copy editor and columnist.

In her column, Carmen promises to provide insights into her creative writing process and her daily life, and GEM said it was delighted to welcome her to the team.

“She has an often quirky and unique take on life and we are sure she will entertain our readers in her own inimitable style.”
