Bromsgrove and Droitwich roads set for 4million resurfacing

ROADS in Bromsgrove and Droitwich will be improved after Worcestershire Highways officially launched its surface dressing programme, costing almost £4million.

Around 300 roads covering 154 miles of carriageway are to be included in the works which will start this month and run until August.

In June, the scheme will cover Earls Common Road, Stock Green, Harrow Lane, Himbleton, Middle Road, Himbleton, Broughton Green, The Saltway, Hanbury, and the B4091 Hanbury Road.

Then in July, the Stourbridge Road in Bromsgrove, Copy Holt Lane, Stoke Prior, Austin Road and Lyttleton Avenue, Charford, Worcester Road, Broad Street, Willow Road and Crabtree Lane, Bromsgrove, along with Swan Lane and Rectory Lane, Upton Warren, will all be revamped.




Church Road, Wychbold, Westwood Road, Westwood Way, the A38 Roman Way and Tagwell Road in Droitwich will also be improved in July, along with the Kidderminster Road West in Hagley.
