A HAGLEY church will take part in the Ringing for England campaign to get bells ringing across the country to celebrate St George’s Day.
As well as church bells, handbells will also be included in this year’s demonstrations.
The Halesowen and Hagley Handbell Ringers will go along to the village’s St John’s Church to take part in this year’s celebrations.
This year is also special because of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death and there will be readings of the Bard’s work in Hagley.
The demonstration of the ‘change ringing’ on the eight bells will take place at St John’s at 3pm and there will be a special concert at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £7.50 on the door.
